"I live in a typical noisy city and have been in constant search for very specific kind of "broad-spectrum" ambient sound to [1] block out irregular noise [2] heal and soothe the auric wounds [3] keep the mind clear and alert enough to focus on demanding mental tasks. Most "sleep" or "meditation" albums tend to have dominant lead melody layer/s, chord progressions, poor quality/mix of nature sounds, or somehow imbalanced recording/mixing effect. Either too sparse, too busy, or has "frequency holes" or "jarring starring instrument" in the mix. And then while sorting my collection I was suddenly reminded of Anugama's binaural specialisation. Wish I found these tracks earlier. Recommended for others who are in search of a peaceful, beautiful edgeless lushious expansive space to be in."—Divagold
"Out of all the Anugama albums, this is by far my favorite. I am a light sleeper and I can easily fall asleep to this album. In fact, only the track stopping seems to wake me. It tapers and fades to an end nicely for each track, but my subconsciousness misses the noise and I wake up. The review by Divagold is dead on about the importance of this album having no melodies. A melody could be distracting and force you to listen to the music, where as the sound of this album washes over you and around you without being prominent. You drift to another time and place, where ever that may be, as there are no defining factors in the sound to set a place or time. The overall harmonies of the tracks are major and positive with no cadences. There is use throughout of the sound of waves crashing and this only adds to the relaxing, ambient effect. It doesn't make you think you are at the beach. It only makes you think of being, existing, relaxing, peacefulness, contentment. Easily one of the best ambient, relaxing albums out there."— Nyan
